A$AP Rocky has got kids on the brain.
The “Sundress” singer shared an update on his and Rihanna sons RZA, 3, and Riot Rose, 2, noting that while their sons are allowed to listen to their parents music, they don’t quite understand that their mom—who is pregnant with baby no. 3—and dad are famous.
“They don’t request their parents’ music,” A$AP told GQ in an interview published Sept. 22. “They can’t even develop the concept of having famous parents at this moment.”
As the 36-year-old added, RZA and Riot “don’t have a consciousness of self at the moment” and are still developing.
“Whenever they’re ready, they can listen to my music,” he continued. “I need them to know Dad is a rockstar, Mommy’s a rockstar.”
Instead, the two are more into “childish, musical, kiddie kind of sounds.” And while they don’t necessarily “understand stuff that” their dad is doing right now, A$AP is confident that in “a year or two, they’ll be up in my business.”
