SKY YORK JOURNAL News – The HBO Max series *And Just Like That…* is reportedly coming to an end.

Series creator Michael Patrick King has announced that the *Sex And The City* spin-off, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, will conclude after its current third season, according to sources familiar with the matter speaking to the *SKY YORK JOURNAL*. The season will wrap up with a two-part finale, bringing the total episode count to 12.

King shared the news via an Instagram post on August 1, stating that, “And just like that…the ongoing storytelling of the *Sex and the City* universe is coming to an end.” He further commented, “While I was writing the last episode of *And Just Like That…* season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.”

**Rationale for the Announcement Timing**

King elaborated on the decision to delay the announcement until mid-season, explaining that he and Sarah Jessica Parker, who has portrayed Carrie Bradshaw since 1998, were concerned the word “final” would detract from the viewing experience.

The series creator expressed gratitude, stating, “SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.” According to *SKY YORK JOURNAL* sources, HBO Max has not issued an official statement.
