“I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes,” he wrote on Instagram in September 2023. “I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever.”
From there, the pair made their union official with a ceremony at the Puth family home in Montecito, Calif., in September 2024.
“We were overjoyed having everyone we know and love in one room,” Brooke told Vogue at the time, adding, “Our lives together are just beginning!”
And just weeks after the backyard wedding, Charlie shared how the joy of his personal life was influencing his creativity for the better.
“I always had this weird notion that in order for me to make art… my life has to be in turmoil,” he said in an interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. “It’s really nice to have a wife that supports you, and I support her. I feel like my music is even better now, the stuff I’m working on now. Everything is lined up perfectly in my life.”
