And Carmen—who shares some ribs, a circulatory system, a digestive system and reproductive system with Lupita, while they each have their own heart, lungs and stomach—agrees, adding, “I don’t understand why people need to know about my private parts in order [to] humanize us.”
The couple did, however, clarify where they stand on becoming parents.
“No kids, never plan on it,” Daniel said. “I kind of like the aunt/uncle idea of, you know, it’s like rent a kid, you know, you get to give them back at the end of the day.”
Carmen concurred saying, “I never saw myself being a parent.”
