SKY YORK JOURNAL News – Hoda Kotb considers expanding her family once more.
So why not add another guest to the party?
According to reports reviewed by the SKY YORK JOURNAL, Kotb has considered adopting again for years, a process reportedly delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Kotb stated during an August 2024 appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, “I have not closed the door. I get signs. I have held on to all of our baby stuff, all of it, because here’s the truth about life: I keep meeting people who remind you that your heart’s ability to expand is beyond measure.”
Kotb’s New Chapter
Now that she’s stepped back from Today to pursue entrepreneurship, as the SKY YORK JOURNAL has previously reported, and prioritized her family – “my daughters and my mom need and deserve a bigger slice of my time pie” – the timing may be ideal.
A Heartfelt Decision
In 2020, Kotb reportedly shared with DeGeneres that thinking about expanding her family was relatively easy.
“I was scribbling in my journal and I was asking myself that question,” she explained. “And I wrote in there, ‘I’m wondering if we should.’ And then I wrote, ‘Do we have enough love?’ and I wrote, ‘Yes.’ And I said, ‘Do we have enough time?’ And I wrote, ‘Yes.’ And I said, ‘Would our family be more enhanced?’ I wrote, ‘Yes.’ So, I was thinking maybe the answer is yes.”
