Jaime King has given her heart to someone new.
Two years after finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Kyle Newman, the Hart of Dixie alum confirmed her engagement to investment banker Austin Sosa, during a Sept. 30 appearance on Juicy Scoop podcast.
“We met through mutual friends,” Jaime explained after confirming the couple’s engagement. “It is exciting.”
E! News previously reached out to reps for King and Sosa, but has not heard back.
The engagement is an exciting development after a year of legal setbacks for King. In March, her ex—from whom she filed for divorce in 2020 after 13 years of marriage—was awarded sole physical custody of their sons James, 11, and Leo, 9, after a years-long custody battle.
During their dispute, Newman described the White Chicks actress as a “chronic drug addict and alcoholic who refuses to acknowledge that she has a problem, let alone seek meaningful treatment for such problem,” according to court documents obtained by E! News at the time.
