Jenna Ortega’s Stylist Reveals Head-Turning Detail Behind Her Emmys Bejeweled Top
Jenna Ortega’s latest look will make you scream with delight.
When the Wednesday star stepped onto the carpet at the Academy Museum Gala on Oct. 18, she did so in a revealing, metallic breastplate.
The daring top—designed by Grace Ling and featured in its Spring 2026 collection—is made of a dark and highly reflective metal and shaped to resemble a leaf. The garment’s oval shape hung across Jenna’s torso, while the leaf’s stem wrapped around her neck and shoulder, leaving her back bare.
The scream queen styled the look with a brown silk skirt that hung low on her hips, her hair styled into a low ponytail while her eyes bore a dramatic smoky look.
The risky look—which just covered Jenna’s chest—comes shortly after the 23-year-old wore a similarly precarious Givenchy top to the 2025 Emmy Awards. The garment was made entirely of woven together jewels, which hung across Jenna’s chest and back. Much like the look accompanying her leaf breastplate, the Scream alum’s jewel-encrusted Emmys look was finished with a black skirt, ponytail and black, strappy heels.
