Joe Jonas only has mad love for his ex Taylor Swift.
Nearly two decades after his brief 2008 romance with the “Down Bad” singer, Joe shared some positive feedback on her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“I’ve heard some of it,” he told Esquire in an interview published Oct. 20. “I think she’s obviously the biggest artist out there, and I think it’s good.”
And while fans were quick to dissect the album’s most noteworthy lyrics, the Jonas Brothers member—who was married to Taylor’s pal Sophie Turner from 2019 to 2023—opted to focus on the musical composition.
“Everybody’s got an opinion about it,” he continued, “but from what I’ve heard, there are some catchy melodies.”
Taylor and Joe, both 35, broke up in dramatic fashion—she famously revealed he ended their romance in a 27-second phone call—but they eventually put the theatrics behind them.
“I’m cool with Taylor. We’re cool,” he said on the Armchair Expert podcast in May 2023. “It’s been many, many years removed.”
