The devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County have now claimed at least seven lives, with thousands of structures destroyed and over 60,000 more threatened.

The Palisades Fire, which ignited around 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, has rapidly expanded, burning approximately 17,234 acres as of Thursday morning.

In response to the escalating crisis, President Biden has pledged full federal support for the disaster response efforts, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to assisting affected communities.

The situation remains dire, with containment efforts ongoing and authorities urging residents to adhere to evacuation orders and safety advisories.
