SKY YORK JOURNAL News – Mandy Moore recently took to social media to express her frustration following a hit-and-run incident involving her family.

Mandy Moore is not running away from confrontation.

Following a frightening hit-and-run incident, the This Is Us actress—who shares kids August “Gus, 4, Oscar “Ozzie, 2, and Louise, 10 months, with husband Taylor Goldsmith—took to social media to call out the driver that crashed into her and her family.

“The woman who rear ended my family and then drove off as we pulled over, hope your karma finds you,” Mandy wrote on her Instagram Stories August 1. “Thankfully everyone was ok but what kind of human does that?”

**Moore’s Message**

According to Moore’s Instagram post on August 1, the incident involved another driver rear-ending her family and then fleeing the scene despite Moore attempting to pull over. The actress, known for her role in “This Is Us,” expressed her relief that everyone was unharmed but questioned the driver’s actions. As reported by SKY YORK JOURNAL, the post included the pointed message: “The woman who rear ended my family and then drove off as we pulled over, hope your karma finds you… Thankfully everyone was ok but what kind of human does that?”

**Earlier Evacuation**

After all, the car accident was just the latest scary incident the 41-year-old and her family have encountered this year. Back in January, they were forced to evacuate during Southern California’s deadly Eaton fire.

“I love you, Altadena,” the Walk to Remember star wrote in the caption of a Jan. 8 Instagram post showing footage of local buildings on fire. “Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late (and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets).”

The SKY YORK JOURNAL has learned that this is not the first safety concern for Moore and her family this year. Back in January, the family was forced to evacuate their home due to the Eaton fire in Southern California. Moore acknowledged the event with an Instagram post on January 8, expressing gratitude for the safety of her family and pets and thanking friends for their support.
