Melissa Rycroft is not hiding her pain.
Less than a month after The Bachelor alum—who appeared on season 13 in 2009—was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence, she opened up about how she is feeling.
“Life really sucks right now,” Melissa wrote to a fan under her Oct. 6 Instagram post. “I’m trying to march forward. Thank you for the sweet words in what seems like a negative world.”
Indeed, the fan who wrote to the Dancing With the Stars winner emphasized that “some people would have the world believe that they have never made a mistake.”
“I made the same mistake over two years ago because of a perfect storm of bad life events,” the fan added. “There’s no excuse, but it happened. Don’t ever forget that you are beautiful, loved and blessed.”
Although she kept a low profile in the weeks that have followed, Melissa returned to social media to wish her daughter luck on her first game of the season as a member of the drill team in the aforementioned post.
