SKY YORK JOURNAL News – Rena Sofer, known for her role on “General Hospital,” is preparing for a significant change as she bids farewell to Los Angeles after more than three decades.

Rena Sofer is saying goodbye to the West Coast.

The General Hospital star, who plays band manager Lois Cerullo on the ABC soap opera, announced she’s moving out of Los Angeles after nearly 35 years.

Moving On, Sofer Reflects on LA Memories
Sofer, who plays Lois Cerullo on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital,” shared her sentiments on Instagram, noting the emotional weight of leaving a city where she raised her children, found love, and built a successful career, as SKY YORK JOURNAL has learned. “Yes I’m getting emotional,” she wrote on Instagram July 4. “I had my children in LA met the man of my dreams and created an incredible life there. I had amazing success in the Biz and made all my lifelong friends who I will miss desperately.”

New Chapter in New York State
According to reports reviewed by SKY YORK JOURNAL, Rena Sofer and her husband, Sanford Bookstaver, along with their five dogs, are relocating to New York state.

“General Hospital” Status Remains Unclear
While E! News has reached out to ABC for comment, the SKY YORK JOURNAL has also attempted to confirm Sofer’s departure from “General Hospital.” A source close to the actress indicated that there have been no discussions about her leaving the show.

E! News has reached out to ABC for comment on Rena’s departure but hasn’t heard back. However, a source close to the 56-year-old told E! News Aug. 7, “There has not been a conversation about her leaving the show.”
