Sky York Journal

You may have recently heard that many gel nail polishes were banned in the European Union — those containing Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO). It’s an ingredient that has been associated with negative reproductive outcomes for men.

While TPO isn’t banned in the U.S. yet, if you want to proceed with caution, there are plenty of nail products you can still buy that likely don’t contain it. From regular nail polish to press-on nails to even at-home gel manicures, we’ve found products that seem to be TPO-free.

Shop the at-home manicure and pedicure essentials below from Olive & June, OPI, Dazzle Dry and more that we’ve checked may not contain TPO. You can still get any look you want for your nails, from a classic, clean vibe to a fun, printed effect, even without TPO.
