The Kitchen is set to plate its last meal.
Food Network announced that the weekend talk show hosted by Sunny Anderson, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and Katie Lee will end at the end in December, after 12 years on air.
“After 40 unforgettable seasons with over 500 episodes, #TheKitchen will officially come to an end on Saturday, December 13th,” an Oct. 20 post on the Food Network Instagram account read alongside a picture of the hosts and guest host Alex Guarnaschelli. “We’re immensely grateful to our hosts, crew, guests, and most of all, our loyal viewers for 10+ incredible years. Thank you for tuning in, cooking along, and being part of our community. Please join us for one final holiday season together in #TheKitchen.”
Katie—who has been a host of the series since it’s 2014 premiere—looked back at her time on The Kitchen as an “honor.”
“It’s the end of an era,” Katie wrote on her Instagram Story. “Thank you so much to all of our fans. The Kitchen was the greatest professional honor of my life and I will be forever grateful.”
