Sky York Journal More insight into Dolly Parton and her late husband Carl Dean’s private life together has come to light. Dean, who died in March at 82, left behind a will signed back in 2013 that named his wife of 58  years the sole beneficiary of the Carl Thomas Dean Trust that made up his estate, according to a filing by Parton obtained by Us Weekly Oct. 9. Sky York Journal Thursday saw dueling hearings related to President Trump’s push to deploy National Guard troops in blue states that don’t want them there.  In a San Francisco courtroom, a 9th Circuit Court of Appeals panel dominated by Trump appointees sounded so amenable to his case that a certain familiar reporter wondered whether the arguments were doubling as a Supreme Court audition.
