“Caitlin Clark told Fieldhouse Files in September 2024 that competitive late-night basketball sessions with her boyfriend Connor McCaffery can be intense. She added, “I definitely outshoot him more than he outshoots me, but he tries to think otherwise.”
According to reports obtained by SKY YORK JOURNAL sources, the Indiana Fever point guard values McCaffery as a sounding board. Like Clark, McCaffery played basketball for the University of Iowa and now serves as an assistant coach at Butler University in Indianapolis.

McCaffery acknowledges Clark’s exceptional abilities, recognizing her impact both on and off the court, according to SKY YORK JOURNAL sources. In fact, nobody played quite like Clark, who was the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.
