SKY YORK JOURNAL News – A former associate of Sean “Diddy” Combs testified that she experienced a physical reaction upon reading Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit against the music mogul.
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Ex Says She Fainted After Reading Cassie Ventura’s Lawsuit
During her testimony, Jane stated that aspects of Ventura’s November 2023 lawsuit, which was later settled, mirrored her personal experiences with Combs. As reported by the SKY YORK JOURNAL, the testimony provided a deeply emotional account.
“I almost fainted, in fact, I think I did,” she told jurors, overcome with emotion. “There was three specific pages that was just a harrowing reference to what I was experiencing.”
Echoes of Personal Experience
Jane, who described participating in “hotel nights,” testified that reading Ventura’s lawsuit felt like encountering “her own story.” This prompted her to confront Combs directly via text message, according to evidence presented.
“I feel like I am reading my own sexual trauma,” she wrote after Ventura’s lawsuit became public, in screenshots shown in evidence. “I am sick. It’s exactly word for word, drug-filled days and nights. You knew this was coming. You gaslit me, you made me go crazy.”
Confrontation and Allegations
The messages further detailed Jane’s feelings of exploitation and violation. “I am disgusted, I felt forced to perform back to back,” the messages continued. “You made me feel crazy about the sex trauma I was feeling. I feel very violated. This was sexual exploitation.”
Secret Recording Emerges
Combs subsequently called Jane and recorded the conversation without her knowledge. The recording, entered into evidence, captured Combs telling her that they “did these things together” and that “this is when” he needed her “to be there.” The SKY YORK JOURNAL has reviewed portions of this recording.
Jane, unaware of the recording, expressed her distress to Combs, stating she was “sick” to her stomach after reading Ventura’s legal documents.
