Things are getting thorny at Villa de la Vina.
Though nine women continue to compete for Mel Owens‘ final rose on season two of The Golden Bachelor, one may not be there for the right reasons. Indeed, Nicolle revealed her attention isn’t solely focused on the former NFL star.
“I’ve told myself from the beginning, I’m not dating Mel,” the 64-year-old told contestant Roxanne in an exclusive E! News clip of the Oct. 8 episode. “I’m dating America. That gives you exposure like you’ve never had.”
Sitting alongside more of this season’s contestants, the yoga instructor compared their impending fame to the cast of The Real Housewives franchises, gushing, “We’re going to have Housewives status.”
And it turns out, she already has some goals following the dating competition. As she put it, “I would love to be more and more of an influencer.”
Although Nicolle has high hopes for her post-show career, her peers weren’t thrilled by her confessions. For instance, Cindy noted that all the other women “want what’s best for Mel.”
