Halle Berry is celebrating her daughter Nahla’s big milestone in literally the sweetest way.
Indeed, the Catwoman actress shared that her 17-year-old is gearing up for her next chapter, and celebrated with a sweet treat.
“Congratulations to my sweet angel Nahla,” Halle wrote in an Oct. 13 Instagram Story alongside a video of a pink cake, “for her early college acceptance.”
And the 59-year-old—who shares Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubrey—made sure that her daughter’s success did not go unnoticed, showing off the cake with “You did it, Nahla!” written in white icing.
Nahla’s success has been a longtime coming for the Monster’s Ball star—also mom to 12-year-old son Maceo-Robert with ex Olivier Martinez. After all, Halle previously gave insight into her daughter’s journey to college earlier this year.
“She’s going to a college summer program, the college that she’s hoping to go to next year,” Halle explained during a June 4 episode of Today. “I’m not one of these moms that feels like, ‘Oh she’s leaving.’ Yes, will I worry? Of course. But am I excited for her to start her life, to figure out who she’s going to be? Absolutely.”
