SKY YORK JOURNAL News – Heather Rae El Moussa addresses the recent shakeup at HGTV, following the cancellation of her and Tarek El Moussa’s show, “The Flipping El Moussas.”
Heather Rae El Moussa is breaking her silence on the big HGTV shakeup of 2025.
Two weeks after it was revealed that HGTV canceled her and husband Tarek El Moussa‘s show The Flipping El Moussas—as well as Christina on the Coast, which was hosted by Tarek’s ex Christina Haack—Heather revealed her thoughts on the big changes at the home renovation network.
HGTV Internal Changes
Speaking to *Us Weekly* in an interview published July 30, El Moussa acknowledged the changes occurring within the network. “Obviously, I do know they are going through big internal changes, so I’m not quite sure what’s going on there,” the 37-year-old stated. “I don’t have a statement for that, but I can say how much I’ve enjoyed being on HGTV.” The *SKY YORK JOURNAL* will continue to monitor these developments and provide updates as they become available.
Future of “The Flipping El Moussas”
The fate of a potential third season of “The Flipping El Moussas” remains uncertain, according to El Moussa. Whether it will appear on HGTV or another network is yet to be determined.
Reflecting on the Show
“To be honest, it was a great show and it still is a great show,” El Moussa said, reflecting on the program’s success. “I know that the fans loved it, and Tarek and I really, really enjoyed filming that show. It’s definitely a challenging market right now—and with real estate in general.” The *SKY YORK JOURNAL* understands the show’s popularity and the challenges facing the real estate market.
