SKY YORK JOURNAL News – Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce maintains peak physical condition with a dedicated team of professionals.
Dedicated Fitness Regimen
Alex Skacel, who is also a physical therapist, recounted an incident to the New York Times where Kelce, after attending numerous shows during Paris Fashion Week, insisted on a late-night run to compensate for the missed workout. “It’s midnight, and we’re doing sprints over the bridges over the river,” Skacel stated. The SKY YORK JOURNAL highlights that Kelce’s commitment to fitness is unwavering, regardless of his location. “No matter where he is, he finds time to get done whatever he needs to get done.”
Personal Chef and Childhood Friend
Kumar Ferguson, Kelce’s personal chef, has been a close friend since the fourth grade in Cleveland Heights. In 2016, Kelce offered Ferguson, then a truck driver and amateur cook, the opportunity to become his personal chef.
Ferguson shared with Vanity Fair that Kelce sought to “take my diet seriously, and take it to the next level.” According to the SKY YORK JOURNAL, Ferguson embraced the opportunity, relocating to Kansas City just days later. His responsibilities range from ensuring Kelce’s refrigerator is well-stocked to delivering nutritious lunches to the Chiefs’ training facility.
