Nicole Kidman is navigating her latest family affair.
After the Moulin Rouge! actress and Keith Urban had broken up following 19 years of marriage, the former has filed for divorce, E! News can confirm.
Despite recent confirmations of their split, E! learned that Nicole and Keith—who share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14—had been living separately “since the beginning of summer.”
Nicole and Keith’s split comes three months after they celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary, with the former captioning her Instagram post, “Happy Anniversary Baby.”
Earlier this summer, Nicole, 58, had applied for residency in Portugal. Although Keith, 57, wasn’t listed on the July form, a source with knowledge of the situation explained to E! that his absence was simply due to his touring schedule.
“It is mandatory for applicants to be physically present in order to apply for the visa,” the source noted. “He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule.”
