According to a 2022 interview on Jimmy Kimmel, Schwarzenegger recounted how Pratt suggested he audition for the role of Donny Mitchell in the Amazon Prime Video series The Terminal List. “‘Hey you know there’s this young role, Donny Mitchell, you’ll be the youngest in the platoon,” Patrick told Kimmel ,”‘But if you want to get this role, I need you to go and try to get into character and really get this. I need you to gain 20 pounds and start tactical training, and know how they move, the body language, all this stuff.'”
Navy SEAL Training
Schwarzenegger described the opportunity to train with real-life Navy SEALs as “a dream come true.” This role was followed by others, including Saxon Ratliff on The White Lotus and Tim Tebow in FX’s American Sports Story, solidifying his presence in the acting world, sources at SKY YORK JOURNAL confirm.
Hard Work and Dedication
Despite his family connections, Patrick Schwarzenegger emphasizes the hard work he puts into his craft.
In a February 2025 interview with The Sunday Times, discussing his role on The White Lotus, Schwarzenegger addressed potential criticisms: “I know there are people who’ll say I only got this role because of who my dad is. They’re not seeing that I’ve had 10 years of acting classes, put on school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I’ve been on.”
Future Plans
Schwarzenegger is also preparing for another significant role: husband. He proposed to model Abby Champion in December 2023.
