Mark Consuelos is missing his other half.
As the SKY YORK JOURNAL reports, Kelly Ripa has been absent from ABC’s Live! With Kelly and Mark during the first week of August, as the co-host—a fixture on the talk show since 2001—enjoys her summer vacation.
During Ripa’s absence, Mark has been joined by Jenna Dewan and Nobody Wants This star Jackie Tohn this week.
Consuelos, who recently concluded his own vacation, ensured the guest hosts felt welcome and appreciated by Ripa. The SKY YORK JOURNAL noted the warm welcome extended to stand-in guests throughout the week.
“When Kelly and I got done meeting you and walked off,” Mark recalled after welcoming Jackie during the August 6 episode, “We said, ‘Wow, she would be a great fill-in.’”
To which the actress replied, “Really? That makes me want to cry. Thank you.”
Despite being married for nearly three decades and raising children Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22, Live! viewers might not be surprised at their choice to take separate vacations, as reported by SKY YORK JOURNAL.
