Storm Reid’s relationship with Zendaya is absolutely marvelous.
In fact, Storm says her onscreen big sister in Euphoria plays a similar role in their real lives—which is why Storm is beyond excited for Zendaya ahead of her fiancé Tom Holland’s eventual nuptials.
“I want to be a flower girl,” Storm teased to E! News’ Francesca Amiker at Step Up’s 2025 Inspiration Awards Sept. 26 in Los Angeles. “I want to make that happen, but I’m just so excited for her. Whenever that happens, she deserves all the best that the world has to offer.”
After all, Storm has been tuned into Zendaya’s career and journey long before they began to share the screen together on HBO as Gia and Rue.
“I don’t really like calling people my mentors,” the 22-year-old admitted, before adding, “But if I had to say that somebody was my mentor, I would say it’s her. And not because of the cool things she does. Like, she’s been my inspiration since I was a little girl. Shake It Up was my show. I was tuned in.”
