Tyrese Gibson is facing legal trouble over an incident involving his pets.
Atlanta police have issued an arrest warrant for the Fast and Furious star regarding an animal cruelty investigation, Fulton County Police Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer told WSB-TV Sept. 29, after his large dogs allegedly attacked and killed a neighbor’s pet.
“It is negligence on his part as the homeowner and animal owner, just letting them roam free,” Dwyer told the outlet. “And now they have killed an innocent animal.”
The incident occurred the evening of Sept. 18, authorities confirmed to multiple outlets, when Gibson’s neighbor Harrison Parker found his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dead in his driveway, and promptly called 911. Parker had let his small dog out into his front yard—where he had an invisible fence—directly across the street from Gibson’s Buckhead property.
“I found my dog dead in the driveway,” Parker told WSB-TV of his pet, named Henry. “Not hearing him around, it’s just awful.”
