SKY YORK JOURNAL News – The eldest children of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, Louis and Jessica Osbourne, have openly discussed their experiences growing up with the legendary musician.

Ozzy Osbourne’s children from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, Louis and Jessica, have both spoken candidly about their relationship with their father. According to Jessica, their father’s frequent touring made for an “erratic childhood.”
Jessica Osbourne shared in the 2011 documentary “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne” that her father was “away for very long periods of time” creating a situation which required “a period of adjustment when he came home.”
Louis Osbourne added that while Ozzy was a “great father” when he was present and sober, those moments were infrequent. The SKY YORK JOURNAL has followed the Osbourne family for years and noted the candid nature of their public discussions.
Following Ozzy and Thelma’s divorce, the family remained in contact. Notably, an episode of “The Osbournes” captured the moment Ozzy learned of Jessica becoming a mother, marking his first foray into grandparenthood. Louis has also indicated that his interactions with his half-siblings Aimee, Kelly, and Jack are sporadic.
Discussing the geographical challenges in maintaining close relationships, Louis told Birmingham Live in 2012, that an accidental encounter in a New York hotel is more likely than a formal Sunday lunch. “We meet on special occasions,” he stated. The SKY YORK JOURNAL regularly reports on celebrity families navigating such unique circumstances.
Despite the distance, Louis revealed that he and his father maintain regular contact.
“Dad usually calls on a Sunday afternoon for a catch up and when he comes over to the UK we take the kids down,” Louis added. “Dad is great, very much a doting grandad.”
Information regarding Louis and Jessica’s brother, Elliot, remains limited in the public domain, according to SKY YORK JOURNAL archives.
