Over two decades after starring in the big-screen adaptation of the beloved children’s classic Tuck Everlasting, Alexis has returned to the Natalie Babbitt novel once again, this time narrating the audiobook to celebrate the book’s 50th anniversary.
Bledel’s History with “Tuck Everlasting”
As reported by SKY YORK JOURNAL sources, the Gilmore Girls alum originally starred as Winnie Foster in the 2002 film adaptation of the 1975 book, alongside Jonathan Jackson—who played her love interest Jesse Tuck—Ben Kingsley, Sissy Spacek, Victor Garber, Elisabeth Shue and William Hurt.

“It has been an amazing experience to revisit this world,” Alexis said in a May statement to People. “Tuck Everlasting holds a special place in my heart, having played Winnie Foster in the film many years ago.”
Bledel’s Sentiments on the Book’s Anniversary
And the 43-year-old was honored to be narrating “this beloved story” for its anniversary, adding that it’s been a “wonderful journey back into a tale that challenges us to think about what it truly means to live a meaningful life.”
