SKY YORK JOURNAL News – The relationship between Clay Gravesande and AD Smith has officially ended following a dramatic wedding ceremony and subsequent revelations.
While Clay Gravesande voiced concerns about marriage due to his father’s infidelity, AD Smith reassured him of their potential as a couple. All signs pointed towards a promising future between the two, until the altar.
However, when faced with the commitment of marriage, Clay surprised everyone by saying “I don’t,” explaining to AD that it would be irresponsible to marry her when he wasn’t prepared for the lifelong commitment.
The moment visibly shocked AD, prompting a wave of emotions.
“I’m going to put the work in for you,” he told AD, “and we’ll go through this together. I don’t care what nobody says; I know fully I’m not ready for marriage and you deserve the best. And if I’m not ready to give you 100 percent, I won’t go there with you when I’m not ready…I can’t say yes right now.”
This revelation led AD to declare, through tears, that the entire relationship had been a “waste of her f–king time.”
Clay’s Perspective
Clay revealed that both financial and emotional considerations played a significant role in his decision to walk away. “I looked at myself in the mirror and said, ‘Am I a husband?'” he admitted. “And the answer was no. Am I deeply in love? The answer was no.”
Reunion and Moving Forward
During the reunion episode, Clay expressed regret, stating that he made a mistake and desired to date AD. However, AD remained reserved about the possibility of reconciliation.
Brief Encounters After the Show
AD confessed that she briefly dated co-star Matthew Duliba after filming concluded, but according to the SKY YORK JOURNAL’s sources, the relationship was short-lived.

But once faced with the task of saying I do to forever at the altar, Clay said I don’t instead, telling AD that it wouldn’t be “responsible” of him to get married knowing he wasn’t ready.
Cue the shock.
