Indeed, Naomi also agreed that the 44-year-old’s ability to jump in headfirst after her only other major acting role in American Horror Story was “deeply impressive.”
“Obviously comfortable in front of the camera,” the Mullholland Drive star shared. “But working with text and a character that has an emotional arc, it was very, very impressive. She’s a hard, hard worker. A fast learner. She was dedicated, focused, on time and also multi-tasking.”
Kim, for her part, was shocked by the amount of praise from her costars in the show, which also includes Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts and Teyana Taylor.
“That is so nice,” she told E! News. “I love these women. We learned a lot together. I learned a lot from them, showing up and coming to set every single day and just seeing them work. Seeing what they do. They are the best at what they do. That is the best lesson.”
Meanwhile, Kim admitted that her seemingly natural ability took a lot more work than it seemed to her costars.
“I was like, ‘All I have to do is make sure I’m prepared,’” she explained. “‘Make sure I know my lines, make sure I’m on time’”
As for what she wanted to get out of the experience, she added, “I’m just gonna watch and learn from them.”
