Sara Bareilles and Joe Tippett are writing a love song together for the rest of their lives.
Indeed, the Waitress alums confirmed they are married after nine years together, showing a glimpse into their intimate nuptials.
“We did a big thing,” Sara wrote in an Oct. 7 Instagram photo. “I will just say I love this man and I love the community who came to hold us up. I am feeling so lucky and so grateful.”
The couple had a small backyard-style wedding, complete with rug runners down the makeshift aisle and their adorable dog as ring bearer.
Sara, for her part, wore an elegant deep-V cut ivory dress with a jewel-embroidered design on the front and a slit down one leg. She topped off her bridal look with a headband and sandal heels. Meanwhile, Joe wore a navy suit with a floral orange tie and brown loafers.
And although Sara’s first glimpse at their happily ever after occurred after the fact, Joe had been hinting at their happy day, which occurred Oct. 5, for several weeks.
